Embers of Hope: The Fight For Our Future
Overview
A documentary series that examines key environmental challenges with clarity and depth. Each episode focuses on a specific issue—climate change, land use change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, freshwater scarcity, air pollution, soil degradation, rising sea levels, and ocean acidification—analysing causes, impacts, and solutions. Climate change is the overarching theme, emphasizing renewable energy and global cooperation. The series will also address population growth as a critical sustainability challenge.
With rich visuals and updated data, Embers of Hope offers one of the most comprehensive explorations of environmental issues ever produced in India and South Asia, while maintaining global relevance. The documentary will be broadcasted every Sunday starting 16 November 2025, at 7:30 PM, on Discovery, Discovery HD, Discovery+, Animal Planet, and Animal Planet HD.

INTERVENTIONS
Production & Collaboration
Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) was selected as the official broadcaster for its global expertise. Robin Roy Films, supported by Prof. Bhaskar Vira of the University of Cambridge, leads production under WBD supervision. The Think Tank guided scripting, identified filming locations, and coordinated with government agencies to secure permissions. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman narrates the series, adding significant impact.
Call-to-Action Campaign
To amplify the series’ impact, a call-to-action campaign will be launched alongside the first episode. The initiative will invite individuals and communities to share their sustainability efforts or highlight impactful environmental work by others. Submissions will be featured on a dedicated webpage, fostering inspiration and knowledge exchange. Designed to engage audiences—especially youth—the campaign will showcase real stories of action, resilience, and responsibility to motivate wider participation in protecting the planet.
